Course Description:

Our research indicates that there are two major challenges utility companies face today with regards to creating a Smart Grid.

The first challenge includes understanding:

  • The components that comprise a Smart Grid
  • How those components work together
  • How to develop and execute a strategy to create a Smart Grid

The second challenge is creating a culture and atmosphere that embraces the inevitable changes that a Smart Grid brings and establishing effective lines of communication across divisions to ensure a smooth execution of a Smart Grid strategy.

This day-long course takes a comprehensive approach to:

  • Alleviating these two challenges and
  • Creating a top-level, Smart Grid strategic plan
